Loved the retro communist feel and decor

I loved this place! Authentic and down to earth. Like visiting my Romanian grandmother's house, if I had one. Large, open, plenty of room, and furnished wonderfully. So many things to look at and it felt like you were transported back in time. Bed was clean, soft and comfy. Hot water and the tub was small but functional. Nice big modern fridge but the kitchen was retro. And the location couldn't be better. Right near the old town and across from a large Carrefour. Easy to catch a bus or walk around. Access was easy and although the circular staircase was a little climb, it was part of the experience. Highly recommend and wished I'd stayed longer!

The location was great, and the flat was very spacious with lots of character. It has a distinctive feel and plenty of room, which we really appreciated.
Unfortunately, the flat needs much more care and attention. It was very dusty and could really do with a deep clean. The biggest disappointment was the lack of a cooker, which we did not expect from a self-contained flat, we could not even make eggs for breakfast. There is also no air conditioning, so it can get very hot during summer days.
Several things also need fixing or improving. There is no washing machine, the cold tap in the kitchen was broken, and the shower was very impractical, with nowhere to hang the shower head and no shower curtain, meaning the bathroom became soaked every time we showered.
