The location of the house was superb. 5 min walk till the amazing beach. The house was big enough to accommodate 4 adults and 2 small kids. The fridge was big enough to fit a lot of products since there isn't any shop next to the apartment. The house itself is located in a very quiet location surrounded by trees and fig trees, very cool area. The garden was huge with a table and a chairs to accommodate your lunches. Have been to plenty villas but the specific one was top notch with the fully equipped kitchen bathroom and whatever a family household could need. Next to the beach on top of the cliff there is a footpath that looks straight to the sea with an amazing view and lleads till the famous Sani Resort. That route was my morning running every day while everyone is still sleeping. The best ever. The cherry on the top was the owner, Mrs Smaragda who wherever we had an issue or a question she was always so fast replying and sorting out our questions. Very friendly and most importantly professional person who understands and respects her clients. We enjoyed our holidays to the fullest. Thank you Sani Forest House and Smaragda for the amazing treatment.
The mosquitos were horrible, making their presence from early evening till the morning. My two small daughters were very badly bitten which is always a heartbreaking for a father. This is not something you can deal with wherever you go especially if you are next to nature and forest, besides putting some aromatic burners but still not very effective. We had few nights with not pleasant sleep because of the neighbours of the near apartments making noise sometimes till 1pm. But also this is something that our host and the house are not responsible for. It can happen wherever. To my fortune, our host took immediate action when I mentioned our issue to her and she contacted personally the neighbours informing them about the "quite hours" in Greece.
Also, as a bbq lover I would love to do some bbq since I'm amazing at it and visiting Greece once every summer became kind of tradition, but unfortunately I couldn't do it this year since the location does not support any open flames being surrounded by trees and next to forest as the firefighter brigade warns.
