The place was clean.

Location … felt very safe when people actually closed the foyer door

Automatic light in hallway kept going on and off Kitchen lights flickered Bathroom door was hard to open once you got it closed Upholstery on kitchen chairs and couch was coming off Additional towels would have been nice Needed instructions for the coffee pot Found the instructions for the trash to be confusing

Disappointing overall — the apartment looked much better in the photos than it did in reality.

The apartment is located in a residential neighborhood within walking distance of central Sorrento. There are restaurants and a large supermarket nearby, which was convenient. The host was responsive and arranged for someone to address the issues we reported shortly after check-in.

Unfortunately, the apartment was quite disappointing and did not live up to our expectations based on the listing photos. Compared with other accommodations we stayed at during the same trip, the overall cleanliness, comfort, and maintenance were noticeably below standard. Upon arrival, there was an unpleasant smell similar to cigarette smoke, despite the property being listed as non-smoking. The washing machine had black buildup around the rubber seal, and the refrigerator was not properly cleaned. Several fixtures and furnishings were in poor condition. The bathroom door handle was loose, the bathroom hook was coming off, and a kitchen cabinet front was also loose. The shower door appeared to have been installed incorrectly and required some maneuvering just to get it to stay closed. The sofa bed was sagging and uncomfortable to sleep on, and the sofa upholstery was torn. The host responded quickly and arranged for someone to address our concerns. The bedsheets were changed, the appliances were wiped down, the bathroom door was repaired, and additional toilet paper and coffee pods were provided. We appreciated her responsiveness, but the appliances still did not appear properly clean, and the repaired door handle still felt unstable. The work was carried out while we were away, which made us a little uncomfortable as our personal belongings were left out. Overall, while the host was responsive, the apartment needs significant improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and furnishings. The actual condition was quite different from what we expected based on the photos.

Very underwhelmed by the apartment. Not a good experience as so much was wrong with it

The location was fantastic, very close to the train station and also a short walk to the town centre.

The apartment itself was very underwhelming. There was a layer of dust everywhere, on the bedside table, the floor of the bedroom and living room and the pillow case and sheets have stains. The blanket looked dirty and old and needs to be replaced. The leather of the couch in the living room was deteriorating and falling apart so everytime you sit on it there was white lint everywhere. We didn’t sit on it because it just looked gross. WiFi password was not provided anywhere in the apartment. Shelf in the living room is falling off the wall. Fridge was not emptied, there was half eaten ice cream and others food left in freezer. The bathroom door is broken & one of the party was locked in there - luckily one of them managed to get it open from the outside. The shower screen is broken. The washing machine had mould on the rubber seal. The bedrooms door didn’t open or shut properly-it got stuck on the floors when you opened it and & the latch didn’t work when you closed it. There was only one remote for two units (bedroom & living room )

Nice apartment

The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance. The apartment was spotless and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The host was very kind and helpful — I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, there was no hot water, but the host did their best to help. Sometimes these kinds of technical issues can happen, it’s understandable.
