Everything about this stay felt authentic. The building is full of history and beautifully preserved, with a spacious, characterful room and very comfortable bed. The homemade breakfast with local produce was excellent, and our host was incredibly welcoming, taking the time to explain where everything came from and recommending places to visit. We especially loved being trusted to explore the ancient pigeon loft ourselves, which offered wonderful views over the rooftops and the former monastery church. The peaceful village setting made it a perfect stop before visiting the Roquefort cheese caves. It was one of the most unique and memorable places we stayed during our trip through France.
Very little to dislike. The only thing to be aware of is that the village church bells ring a few minutes before each hour and again on the hour, with a longer peal at 7 am, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. For us, it became part of the charm and added to the authentic experience of staying in a historic French village.

On a été ravis de notre passage ici. Le lieu à été une vrai surprise. Les chambres sont vraiment très originales, on se sent projeté à une autre époque. J'ai adoré les wc dans la tour 😂 C'est décoré avec goût, propre, bien pensé, spacieux et calme. L'accueil très agréable et un bon petit déjeuner complet. On a pu se garer facilement juste à côté.
