With a little care on the part of the owner, this could be a great place to stay.

Nice first impression when entering the property. Spacious rooms with decent furniture and kitchen supplies. Secure location with room to park a car. Mosquito nets were provided on the beds. There was a French press coffee maker. Two new dish towels.

No orientation when we arrived, so we had to figure out where everything was like the electrical breaker box when the electricity failed and the water pump switch, located outside, when the water stopped running, etc. Two air conditioners downstairs, but running both at the same time caused the electrical breaker to fail. Had to then find and use a chair to reach the breaker box near the ceiling in the main hallway. No AC in the bedrooms upstairs. No propane to use on the stove for cooking. Was told we had to go buy our own. A can was later provided after we complained, but was spewing gas, so we didn't dare use it. There were two electric burners. There was a 5 liter water dispenser, but no water. We were told we had to go buy the bottles. The kitchen counters, sink, and table were very dirty with lots of bugs. No sponge or soap was provided to clean dishes and counters. No condiments provided. Kitchen had a disgustingly dirty garbage can which had a broken foot pedal and didn't open. There were very large cockroaches near the kitchen garbage can and in one of the bedroom closets. Upstairs bathroom was very dirty.
