The Garten Living was exceptional....
Everything worked perfectly throughout my stay, including the electricity. They have a large, quiet generator capable of running all the electrical appliances without any issues, which made the stay very comfortable.
The architectural design is beautiful — from the lush garden and thoughtfully decorated rooms to the spacious bathrooms. The whole property has such a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere.
What stood out most was the staff. Everyone was incredibly attentive and helpful. They were also very accommodating with my gluten allergy and happily adjusted a few things on the menu for me.
Breakfast was lovely: great coffee, plenty of fresh fruit, homemade granola and yogurt, plus delicious homemade pineapple, papaya and date jams. ☕🍍🥭
I had one small issue with the bathroom fan, but maintenance took care of it immediately — excellent service.
The only reason I didn't give the full 10 stars is that I would have really appreciated having a small fridge in the room. That little addition would have made an already wonderful stay absolutely perfect.
Overall, a beautiful property with wonderful staff, great attention to detail and a very relaxing atmosphere. I truly enjoyed my stay, and would choose it again when coming back to Zanzibar 🌿🤍

Small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and very good food. The area around the pool was very pretty and peaceful. Not far from the beach - about a 5 minute walk.
The room safes were very small. Fine to fit in passports but no chance for tablets or laptops. Also, the description on Booking.com did not say it doesn't serve alcohol.

The property was gorgeous and zen! It’s close to many restaurants in paje. The staff were so kind and thoughtful and always wanted to assist when needed.
Nothing. But a full length mirror would be nice.
