A complete waste of money!

The bed is comfortable.

Upon arriving after dark, hungry and needing to cook food for dinner, the stove didn't work and the gas was finished. We were advised by the host to use the microwave or to make a fire. It is winter time and with it already being dark, it was freezing cold and we didn't plan to make a fire and be outside in the freezing Freestate winter. We also didn't have charcoal or firefighters to do so. After this discovery, my husband had to leave in the pitch dark (no street lights with pothole ridden roads) to find us dinner as we had no other options. The bathroom facilities are really uncomfortable and not al all in a good condition. The shower doesn't have a curtain or a door to deter the cold. The water pressure is non existent and the shower head needs replacing. Not even to mention that the entire bathroom wells up with water when showering because of the open shower. Probably one of the worst showers I've ever had. When leaving the room together at some point, we closed the door to try and keep in some heat, only to be locked outside. When trying to open the door, the previously "fixed" lock completely broke off. The TV remote was also not working. We booked for two nights however decided to leave after the first night. A complete waste of money. When letting the host know that we decided to go home because of how uncomfortable we were, he just ignored me. It was so disappointing, and I would not recommend anyone staying here, especially during the winter.
