We were very happy with the property. The house was clean warm when we arrived, and the kids loved the hobbit house in the backyard. We were certainly entertained by the local deer and raccoons played in the yard. It was amazing to see a monkey puzzle tree in the front yard. All the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. We especially liked the big bath towels! Overall, a very nice property centrally located near all the best attractions of Olympic national park

Caitlin's place is charming. It's the perfect mix of vintage with modern touches. It's massive, comfortably fitting our group of 8. The location is great, centrally located. You can walk to bars, restaurants, and coffee shops or just a 2 minute drive there. Can't recommend the place enough!

The home is charming, conveniently located to town and hurricane ridge. What I loved best were the hosts, who thought of every detail. It was like being hosted by friends with such generous hospitality.

The Queen of the Strait, positioned in a quiet residential Port Angeles neighborhood, is an absolutely charming and well kept historic property. This location is a short walk to downtown restaurants, shops, and other tourist activities, and was a perfect home-base for daily nature outings to the coasts, as well as other Olympic National Park locations and scenic drives. The home also offered a private outside yard/garden space to relax and enjoy in the evenings. Overall the residence and Host provided a great stay for our 5-person group. A few issues to note: There were a couple housekeeping issues that should have been resolved by the cleaning staff between guests, but they were minor and did not take away from the overall experience. For example: Two towels in the downstairs bathroom had stains/ were not clean, there was not enough toilet paper for 5 guests (we purchased more), the refrigerator had many open perishable, but undated condiments, and the freezer drawer had spilled liquid at the bottom of it. Other: All the bedrooms were great sizes, beds were were super-comfortable, but there was no place to open suitcases. A few luggage racks or dressers would have been helpful.
