Great place...funky old farmhouse but in well kept condition. Michael was very communicative and accomodating.

This historic, funky, charming, and cozy house is ideal for group get togethers, with lovely outdoor and indoor spaces for gathering. Keep in mind that the house is old and has been expanded over the years, so ceilings are low in some places and the main stairs were built when feet were much smaller. There is no central air, but fans and a couple of room ACs do the job well, though it might get warm in the shared areas in high summer. Our friend group has rented the place several times now and have always had a wonderful time.

This is an old-fashioned house but if you are comfortable with that, it is an excellent place for a large group to gather. The kitchen is well stocked and the outside patio area can accommodate a large crowd. We spent most of our time there because it was a beautiful night and day in May. It’s in the country and very quiet (except for bird calls) and feels very private. If you are tall, some of the upstairs rooms and bathrooms might be a bit challenging. (I am 6’4” and still slept upstairs, so it’s not impossible.). Mike, the owner, was extremely responsive via text to the few questions we had. And he went above and beyond when we left something behind in one of the bedrooms — He searched for it, found it, and is mailing it to its very relieved owner.

A group of high school friends in their 50s gathered for a weekend. The home is comfortable and charming. Just be aware that an 1830s farmhouse comes with some quirks.
