The service from the staff was incredible. Amazing bunch of guys who are always on hand to help out. Very patient and very kind.
Not much to say on this but it would have been good to have a proper cup of coffee in the morning but with cafe’s surrounding the hotel, you don’t really have to worry.

Was it decently clean? Yes.
Was the staff nice? Yes.
The water worked, the AC was cold.
When I complained about the bad room we got (it was so small I could barely stand up in the shower) we got a different room that was slightly better.
The only good part about this hotel is that it was close to the center and to a running area near it. I will choose literally any other place if I ever come back to Istanbul.
The entire hotel is terrible and having a 9.1 rating is a complete mishandling of booking.com or some version of review spamming.
Did the area feel unsafe most of the time? Absolutely.
The advertised room was 25 square meters. That is enormous and it weighed a lot into my decision to come here.
What we got was a maybe 10m square room where you would finish the oxygen if you breathed for 2 minutes with the windows closed. Even at night.
The lobby is terryfing, the furniture is decades old and there is visibly no investment since whichever century this thing opened in.
The staff made a joke about not breaking the bed (I'm a big & tall guy). It truly felt like it might break, happily it survived.
The work on the room (the actual paint on the walls and the bathroom tiles is very bad).
For the price, this hotel should not raise above a 7 in any version of reality.
I felt scammed the moment I entered the hotel in the shady area of Sultanhament, lesson learned.
