The rooftop was a nice aspect and a cool hang out space. Laura answered any question I had and it was easy to check in and out. There are lovely restaurants on the street but they do close Sundays and Mondays and you need to book for a Saturday. The room is small but it had everything we needed so happy with it and the price was very reasonable. It is close to la cita and the main town.
There is not much in the way of cooking facilities but not an issue as we planned to eat out.

La posizione è eccezionale! A un passo dalla Bastide, il centro della città bassa, e dal Pont Vieux, che porta alla città medievale. Appena dietro l'appartamento si trova un parcheggio sotterraneo a pagamento (Gambetta) comodissimo, dotato di ascensore, in cui la sosta per 24 ore costa solo 7 euro.
L'appartamento è accogliente, dotato di aria condizionata e di una doccia spaziosa con un'ottima pressione dell'acqua. Benché non si sentisse il classico rumore di ventola, il bagno e la toilette, entrambi ciechi, devono essere dotati di un buon impianto di ventilazione, in quanto non abbiamo notato condensa o odori sgradevoli dopo l'uso.
La terrazza sul tetto offre una vista incantevole sulla cittadella che non ha prezzo.
Il check-in e il check-out in autonomia sono stati semplici grazie alle indicazioni precise di Laura, la nostra host, la quale ci ha anche fornito suggerimenti per cena e pranzo.
Le scale di accesso sono molto strette, ripide e irregolari, affascinanti in quanto tipiche di un edificio antico, ma scomode per portare su e giù i bagagli.
La serratura della porta del nostro alloggio era estremamente dura e difficile da chiudere a chiave.
Nel bagno avremmo apprezzato qualche appendino per gli asciugamani.

Excellent emplacement, à la fois en plein cœur de Carcassonne et à proximité immédiate de la cité médiévale. Le logement est propre, agréable et bien équipé, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un séjour confortable seul ou á 2.
Mais le véritable point fort est sans aucun doute le rooftop. La terrasse offre une vue complètement dégagée et exceptionnelle sur la cité médiévale. Pouvoir prendre son petit-déjeuner le matin avec cette vue, ou simplement boire un verre le soir sous les étoiles face à la cité, est vraiment un petit privilège.
Un très bel endroit pour découvrir Carcassonne à pied et profiter pleinement de la ville.
Le seul véritable point de regret concerne la machine à café Tassimo. Je nai pas trouvé de dosettes Tassimo a carrefour ni a monoprix... Une machine plus standard, avec des dosettes facilement disponibles type senseo serait à mon sens beaucoup plus pratique pour les voyageurs. Ou bien laisser 2 dosettes disponible par nuitée dans l'appartement.

Rooftop avec vue sympa
Il n'y avait pas de wifi (mot de passe indiqué mais pas le nom du WIFI...), la télé n'était pas fonctionnelle (impossible de mettre à jour les chaines...) et l'hôte ne répondait pas au téléphone.
