For our stopover stay, it was most appropriate. Also the staff was most cordial in allowing us to arrived very early, before check-in time. The dinner was excellent and served in our rooms. Breakfast was simple and tasty. It was offered at our requested time and served to us very graciously.
It's not they they could do anything about it. I wanted the balcony room and that meant I had to go upstairs. The steps were not so even.

Central location and near to the CBD, the premises were very clean and linen and towels were replaced daily, i liked the Quiet neighbourhood very much. The staff are frindly and helpful.
No commercial restaurant near the facility. For guests requiring food, the menu provided at the facility is cost prohibitive.
I dont remeber finding a security guard. we had to open the gate when we arrived at night. It left us wondering whether we are lost.

I stayed for one night. I wanted a comfortable, clean room and a breakfast. The room was indeed clean and the bathroom too. The bed had a mosquito net, which was needed, because Kisumu has a lot of mosquitos. The bathroom had a shower and toilet and both were clean. The shower had some issues with warm water (either burning you alive or freezing cold and no inbetween). But it was okay. There was a little balcony which I enjoyed. There were no bedbugs, which was great (this is not common sense in Kenya). The best thing was the very quiet neighborhood it is located in. Very secure too.
It seemed like people didnt know I booked beforehand and were a little confused but everything got sorted out. Also the breakfast was the typical Chapati, some sausage and tea breakfast you can find nearly everywhere. For the price I would have wished for a little more.
