John was at the house when we arrived and had a fire lit for us, so the house was cosy and welcoming. The location is quite remote, yet only 20 minutes from Portmagee, Cahirciveen and Waterville. We loved the space around the house, views of the mountains and forest. The house itself is old style with quirky corridors and rooms which we loved. Great Library. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Comfortable quiet location , bedrooms bath and toilet upstairs, bathroom with bath shower toilet downstairs;lovely host.
Unusual that power usage had a modest allowance, we paid a nominal extra amount , could be an issue in cold weather.
