Căsuță spațioasă pentru o familie cu 2 copii. Utilată cu toate cele necesare. Atmosferă rustică. Gazdele au fost foarte cumsecade, ne-au făcut să ne simțim foarte bine. Ne-au pus la dispoziție fructe și legume crescute in gradina lor. Copiii au fost încântați peste măsură de animalele din curte, in special de păsări. Vom reveni cu siguranță când vom avea din nou ocazia.

The hosts were wonderful, and the house itself is exceptionally beautiful, with both modern and cultural touches. The hosts went out of their way to create a welcoming, warm, and comfortable place for guests. The fireplace is lovely, as well as the huge and modern kitchen. We had everything we needed, and they are very kid and pet-friendly, which we appreciated.
The beds were very hard (we were both sore from the very hard mattress), and they have chickens in their garden, so it can be loud in the early morning. It's a rural area, so it's not unusual to have chickens.

The cabin itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The subtle, fun details make you feel welcome, and there's even a working old-school record player with vinyl records. Downstairs there is a kitchen and a living room with a sofa and a fireplace, and the sleeping area is upstairs. It was clean on arrival and has everything you need, plus a lovely terrace with a grill.
The cabin sits in a large courtyard with plenty of fruit trees and lots of birds kept by the owners: parrots, budgies, chickens, roosters, pheasants and turkeys. The aviary is attached to the cabin, right next to the ground-floor bathroom, and a pheasant sleeps against the bathroom window. We're country people at heart, so we loved it, but it's worth knowing if you're not used to animals. The owners also have a vegetable garden (tomatoes, peppers, hot peppers and more) and we were welcome to help ourselves, which was a really nice touch.
The main reason for our score is the hot tub. It's listed among the facilities and mentioned in the photo captions, and it was a big part of why we booked, but it isn't marked as an additional charge anywhere on the listing. When we arrived in the evening, tired after a long drive, and asked how to use it, the owner told us it costs 350 lei (about €70) for the first use and 150 lei for each use after that. We honestly thought he was joking: the first session alone costs more than a night at the cabin, and using it every evening of our 6-night stay would have cost 1,100 lei, more than half of the 1,900 lei we paid for the cabin. At checkout he reminded us to pay. To avoid an argument before the long drive home, we offered to send the money by Revolut to his son, who receives the Booking payments. His wife asked us to send it to her instead, saying the hot tub money was her "little side income". So we sent her 350 lei, outside the booking, with no invoice or receipt. If there's an extra charge, it should be clearly stated on the listing, not announced on arrival.
The water (probably from a well pump) was cloudy, not clear at all, and turned slightly brown after rain. Not great when you have to shower with it.
The cabin shares the yard with the owners' house, which is only about 10 m away. If you're looking for privacy, this isn't the right place.
The only heating is the wood-burning fireplace. We loved it, but it makes you dependent on the firewood the owners provide. They usually left enough, but a couple of times we had to knock on their door to ask for more. You also end up wondering whether you're using too much wood and how warm you're really allowed to keep the place.
