The location is really great. You are in the very central, you can see the Georgian flag from the window. The other side of the apartment faces the courtyard, which is usually quiet. The apartment is just huge, the hall is a beautiful space, I lived alone here, so I used only this hall and attached bedroom (with an attached toilet;), and there is an electric heater in this bedroom, so, if it is not enough warm getting from the hall gas heater, you can use it, but I was keeping my door open into the hall and that was enough those days. Both beds are actually made from two separate beds, I had to use mattress pads from both beds to create one bed without a gap in the middle.
The gas heater was very productive, but we both needed oxygen, so I had to keep the window open a little bit. The balcony is very nice, you can sit there if it is warm enough.
The hall space is the most attractive place, you can dance there and do any exercises – the ceilings are so high.
The kitchenette is very simply equipped, but the owner bought what I asked. An Air conditioner is in the hall, but I did not use it.
It was very calm in here. I fell like I live alone in this building, and it was very quiet at night inside and at the street. Only the gas heater crackled like a fireplace. 1st I cleaned the floor, and I cleaned it every day to keep this parquet floor clean enough to walk on it barefoot sometimes and make my exercises at the floor at the small mat.
So, it wasn't easy in the beginning, but in a couple of days I really felt I am at home. And the owner is a very nice and helpful person, it was a very important part of my happy stay at this apartment 10 days around the New Year, when it was sometimes a heavy rain and strong wind, and that time a huge storm created a lot of damages which I could see later visiting other beaches. And some of days the weather was just great, sunny and warm, and I could explore the town and area around (Maltakva beach and Wetland, etc.)
Lots of things have to be replaced on new ones (towels, drain pipes under sinks – it has smell, and all place need to be renovated). But I understand it costs lots of money. And it is not enough hot water more when just quick shower.
