There were very clear instructions on checking in, which was great.. I had no issues checking in at all.
The first night (at check in) we noticed the plumbing had issues, which meant we entered the entire house and then particularly our apartment (and mostly the bathroom area) and it was smelling terribly (I was retching from the reflex). The smell persisted to the next day. We wrote the host and he came immediately, however he said "he did not smell it" and that it could be because of the construction happening outdoors. The smell was gone the next day, but the experienced was sadly ruined for us already.
