Much bigger than expected, it’s essentially a 1bedroom apartment. Great staff, offsite, but very responsive. A/C, smart tv in room, just about 5 minutes up from the city center.
Mattress was a bit uncomfortable.

Difficulté d’évaluer le personnel dans la mesure où nous n’avons vu personne. La chambre a était faite qu’une fois. À savoir : une petite centaine de marches pour atteindre la chambre du port d’Amalfi mais faisable même enceinte de 7mois (avec possibilité de payer un porteur 20€ la valise)

We stayed in the Andromeda double bedroom at Residenza Ester and our experience was absolutely exceptional — a true 10/10 stay right in the heart of Amalfi. The apartment was spotless, beautifully prepared, and incredibly comfortable. We used one of the bedrooms for our bags and clothes and slept in the other, and both rooms had lovely balconies that made the whole place feel bright, airy, and relaxing.The location is unbeatable. You’re literally in Amalfi town, steps away from everything — the beach, restaurants, shops, and the main square. It made exploring super easy and stress‑free. Navigation was simple, and having such a central base made our trip even better.
The host was fantastic: friendly, responsive, and genuinely caring. Check‑in was smooth, communication was clear, and every detail was handled with real professionalism and warmth. You can feel how much they care about their guests.
Overall, this was one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Clean, comfortable, perfectly located, and hosted with real heart.
Highly recommended to anyone visiting Amalfi — couples, families, or solo travellers.
We would absolutely stay here again.
We are going to recommend this place to all of our family and friends who are looking for accommodation in Amalfi town.
Nothing major — everything was wonderful.
The only small thing was that the shower doors felt a little bit sketchy, but it’s an easy fix for the host and didn’t affect our stay at all
