The absolute worst rental experience I have ever had on Booking.

seafront Isla Taboga

bedbugs— I was severely bitten, have photos; stench of mildew throughout the apartment, holes in the walls, hazardous electric sockets, dining room air conditioner not working, general grime and rundown facilities throughout, hazardous broken guard rail on balcony, noisy party neighbours on both nights (noise only stopped at 4am). The apartment was outrageously overpriced at $492 for two nights, two people. This is not a top-end rental, it is a no-star primitive hostal. I would like to request a partial refund of the rental paid. it was only worth $100 total, certainly not $492. The owner demanded full payment in advance — before I could get the key and see the condition of the place. And also the “hidden extra condition” of the rental agreement — which was “no cancellation possible. You pay the full amount regardless.”

Las vistas.

El alojamiento se quedo sin agua todo un día y la mañana completa del check out (cuando nos fuimos todavía no había agua…). Según nos dijeron los propios chicos de mantenimiento el fallo fue el tanque de agua en mal estado que tenia grietas de hacia tiempo y no han reparado. La propietaria no nos dio ninguna solución (solo la chica de la limpieza y el señor de mantenimiento) ademas que de muy malas formas y sin disculparse en ningún momento. Nos mintió ademas diciendo que era problema de la isla cuando no era así (en la isla había agua y de hecho tuvimos que pagar por ducharnos en la isla). La mañana del chechout tuvimos que lavarnos con cazos de agua que nos facilito el señor de mantenimiento. No nos quiere reembolsar el dinero de la estancia sino solo un día (menuda cara mas dura). La piscina no es privada como dice el anuncio es comunitaria y no es piscina como tal sino que es agua de mar que se embalsa y se vacía con la marea del mar por lo que cuando la marea esta baja no hay “piscina”. En nuestro no se lleno hasta las 8pm…Un desastre en definitiva

Muy bonito el lugar, limpio y su vista al mar incomparable, comodidad, tiene todo lo que uno necesita, y Es como tele transportarse al mediterráneo... Maravilloso!
