The views were absolutely beautiful! It was also very quiet which was lovely, especially having a SEN daughter and an energetic toddler😅 My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the touch lamps and the feel of the carpet. Very thankful for the hosts leaving essentials such as toilet rolls, washing up liquid, hand wash, sponge and cloth and bin bags as it would have meant going to a shop after driving the 5-6 hours it took us to get there😅
The reception was shut when we got there and after driving for 5-6 hours it was a tad bit frustrating BUT someone did come out and help us rather quickly so it didn’t ruin anyone’s moods and the man was extremely friendly and very understanding! The bedroom with en-suite was quite small so we had to squeeze the travel cot in there which blocked off the en-suite but not a big deal as we just used the other bathroom!

Very poorly signposted. Not easy to find our lodge on arrival. Disappointed that there was no food available on site at hasgaurd bar
