I loved the attention to detail. Even though this is a tiny cabin, everything has been thoughtfully planned and there’s surprisingly enough space for everything. The bathroom had plenty of room for all my cosmetics and hair products, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances and kitchenware we needed.
We stayed for two weeks, so having a vacuum cleaner and washing machine was a huge plus, especially with a dog. The neighbours were also very friendly and welcoming.
The weather was much better than we expected, so we actually didn’t get a chance to use the sauna, but it’s a lovely feature to have.
This is more of a “good to know” when planning your stay. If you’re coming with a dog, the walks around the cabin are mostly along steep roads up and down the hill, with very little grass nearby. Our dog only goes on grass, so we had to walk down to the village and parking area each time, and then walk back up again.
During our stay, there was also construction work happening on a nearby street. They started early on weekday mornings, and it was quite loud even with the windows closed and earplugs, so sleeping in wasn’t really an option.

Das Chalet ist wirklich top ausgestattet. Was man auch braucht, man findet es irgendwo. Es ist klein und fein. Alles funktioniert einwandfrei (Heizung, Fernseher, Kaffeemaschine und selbstverständlich alle Küchengeräte). Da wir an zwei Tagen ziemlich trübes Wetter hatten, habe ich die Fasssauna ausprobiert. Ich bin sonst kein Saunagänger aber das war richtig schön. Die Sauna ist ganz einfach zu bedienen und wenn man drin sitzt und übers Tal blickt... einfach herrlich (bei mir sogar mit Schneeflocken). Wegen der etwas kühlen Tage waren wir froh um die drei elektrischen Heizkörper, die einfach und individuell eingestellt werden können. So konnten wir für uns den hinteren Teil etwas wärmer machen und vorne, wo die Hunde schliefen, kühler. Auch ums Chalet herum ist es sehr gepflegt. Vom sonnigen Sitzplatz aus hat man eine schöne Aussicht. Die Nachbarn sind freundlich und es hat sehr wenig Verkehr am Haus vorbei.
Für unsere zwei Hunden, wovon einer eine betagte Hundedame und der andere ein nicht mehr ganz junger Spunt ist, war die Lage am Hang nicht optimal. Das Chalet liegt an einem recht steilen Hang und die vorbeiführende Strasse verläuft entweder hinauf oder hinunter. Vorallem für unsere Oma waren die morgendlichen und abendlichen Gassirunden daher etwas anstrengend. Tagsüber sind wir dann mit dem Auto in etwas ebeneres Gebiet gefahren, da konnte auch sie gemütlich spazieren. Dies soll keine Kritik sein sondern ein Hinweis, die Lage des Chalets zu beachten.
