The location was closer to the Museum of Goldfield and on the quieter side of the Hannan Street, hence it was OK.
Each room had air conditioner and heater. Room lighting was sufficient and the beds were comfortable and neat.
We had requested a 3:00 PM check-in, which was confirmed by the property owner prior to our booking. However, when I requested the entry code, I was informed that the apartment would not be ready until 4:00 PM because it hadn’t been cleaned.
This caused inconvenience, especially as I was traveling with my 80-year-old mother. I had to call the host to arrange temporary seating, after which we were given the apartment complex entry code to wait near the barbecue area. We appreciated the gesture; however, this information should have been provided proactively. The cleaner came while we were waiting near the barbecue area.
At 4:00 PM, I had to message again to obtain the apartment entry code.
When we finally entered the apartment, we found that the dishwasher was not working, the TV was unplugged and disconnected, and the utensils were not clean.
Overall, while the location was convenient, the experience could have been better with clearer communication and better preparation before check-in.
