I had a great stay at this hostel! The place was super comfortable, clean, and had a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff were kind, friendly, and always helpful whenever I needed anything. The breakfast was also really good and a great way to start the day.
I would definitely recommend this hostel, especially if you’re traveling on a budget and looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. I’d definitely come back again!
The only thing I didn’t like was the lamp in the shower on the first floor. It could use a replacement, but apart from that, everything was great.

The best hostel in Morocco! All the staff & volunteers are great people (Shoutout Anas) and same with the guests. This hostel seems to attract only the best people. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Tangier, you wont want to leave. Everything exceeded all expectations, the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and rooftop terrace. If you staying in Tangier, look no further, just book Dar Gara!

The staff was lovely and welcoming, the breakfast was nice (although very average for moroccan standards), the location was good.
Our room was very humid and cold, probably due to rainy days, it's a serious health risk to stay in that room. They provided a temporary heater, but that wasn't able to help much. There was intense sewage smell in some places in the morning. The wifi did not work well.
