This was my 7th adventure in Greece during May 18-29 2026, it was a very important trip with my son, as well as with another friend and his son, in summary a special trip of 2 fathers and 2 sons.I selected this traditional cave house in Messaria in the center of Santorini based on my previous 2 trips to Santorini, as well as the various activities that we wanted to accomplish in Santorini in 4 days.From the beginning I had very good communication with Akis, his wife Stamatina helped us with the arrival, thank you very much!

We had a little difficulty finding the property but throughout our stay the property owner was very accessible and went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. She was able to answer all our questions and take care of anything we needed (including helping us rent a car, best restaurants, and things to do). The property can be a bit damp (we visited in April) so request a dehumidifier. The property is not within walking distance of stores, restaurants and sites so you will want to rent a car if you don't want to pay for a taxi every day. We are a family of 5 (adults) and enjoyed our stay.
