About this house rental

Our charming Des Moines home in a quiet residential neighborhood located conveniently in the fast growing upscale area of Ankeny, is the perfect place for your stay. Nestled northwest of Des Moines adjacent to a historic and beautiful biking and walk trail. You will be within a short distance from a world class brewery, bars, restaurants and miles of walking and biking trails. We are within a few miles of everything else that Ankeny and the downtown area of Des Moines has to offer! Other things to note The property is located one block from the High Trestle Trail, one of the most pristine and highly trafficked trails in Iowa—even at night. The trail’s popularity is largely due to its famous 130-foot-tall High Trestle Bridge, which boasts one of the most well-known rail-trail art installations in the country, From Here to There. Wrapped in 43 twisting, diamond-shaped steel ribs lined with LED lights, the bridge elicits the sensation of traveling down a mine shaft—a nod to the area’s coal-mining history. In addition to its rich history, Ankeny is also known for its vibrant local art scene, with galleries and studios revealing the work of local artists. Whether you're interested in history or the arts, Ankeny has something to offer everyone. Ankeny has a fascinating history that dates back to the late 1800s when it was founded as a railroad town.
