The location and setting is perfect and tranquil. Lovely scenery and views and walks. The cafe and food was lovely and the bathrooms were really divine and luxurious! You certainly feel relaxed being here - it is beautiful.
I thought that the cabins and bell tents were more spaced out than they are, and personally I'd not be keen to stay in a smaller cabin where the front steps are right on a path with people walking by myself. This for me took away some of the tranquility and peace that I had anticipated. The bell tents, while lovely, need more of an outside space to sit. We were very lucky and had a decking area by the water that we could sit and relax in the evening, but none of the others have this. I wouldn't want to be cooped up in the tent itself, and especially in the hotter weather. The lake didn't look as appealing as it does in the photos and looked like it needed a little TLC so sadly didn't use it. But I would recommend staying here as it is a beautiful area and setting with lovely walks to explore.

Quiet, beautiful & comforting scenery. I stayed in a bell tent and the accommodation was clean and cosy, I was initially worried about whether I would be cold in the evenings but inside the tent there were multiple big blankets! I probably had the best few nights sleep I’d had in a long while. The facilities were fantastic! The individual bathrooms were uniquely decorated and kept incredibly clean. The site itself was also very tidy and beautiful with lots of blooming wildflowers everywhere, it was like something from a painting. The cafe & breakfast boasted some lovely options & the staff were so friendly and accommodating! Nothing seemed too much for them, they were a real credit to the business too!

Beautiful location, very peaceful space with lush grounds to explore.
The tent was wet on arrival as the doors had been left open in a rain shower and never dried. Staff said there was nothing they can do. The cafe food was hit and miss and not good value for money. The breakfast could be better, including hash browns which were so hard round the edges. Sadly the cafe staff did not offer friendly customer service and it seemed an inconvenience to them to help. They charge corkage for wine which seems a lot for a glamping site as they don’t sell alcohol. Get up early if you want a hot shower, by 8am there is not hot water left. The bathrooms are mostly lovely but some of the bathrooms need repair, as they showers not draining or toilets not flushing well. Also there are no cooking facilities or access to fridge.
