Very close to the airport. The host Patricia and Giovanni were friendly and hospitable. The Cottage itself was big, comfortable and as advertised.

• charming cottage with everything you could need! Spare toiletries, towels, pool towels, toilet rolls, washing machine and laundry pods.
• lovely hosts, Giovanni very kindly brought us some home grown grapes during our stay!
• can't hear the planes from inside the cottage.
• loved the cats!! They must have about 10 of them and it was lovely getting to know them during the week.
• hosts helped us set up parasol over the pool on a hot day!
• ants in the cottage. We made sure to wash up cookware, and clean surfaces after every meal but there were lots of ants on the worktops, and floors despite our cleaning.
• there is aircon in the bedroom but it doesn't work very well. I wonder if the filter needs changing. We struggled to sleep because it was really hot each night, even with the aircon on full.
• not a negative but worth mentioning that the hosts live on site as well. So you share the pool and outside areas with them. But they are very respectful and it doesn't affect your privacy at all.

My girlfriend like all the cats.
It was quiet. Was worried it be a noisy area due to airport and motorway close by. But it wasn’t noisy. Shops near by also handy.

Our landlords were beautiful. Giovanni and Patricia went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The surroundings were like being in a farm. There were chickens that provided us with fresh eggs when we
wanted them. The kittens were friendly and enjoyed our company. The cottage was a traditional Maltese cottage with all the facilities one could need. The property was really clean and well stocked with cooking utensils, crockery, linen and towels. Air conditioning in both the lounge room and bedroom were our life savers. We utilised the pool often as we were in a heatwave. The pool was clean and in-fact Giovanni had the water changed just after we arrived as he routinely does which was really good. The location was right behind the airport which we thought was going to be a concern. That proved not to be an issue at all and although you could hear planes taking off it was no big deal at all. The location was a bit of an issue for the Bolt drivers to find us sometimes but we made it work every time. A quick 10 minute walk to Luqa for groceries and a 20 min walk to Lidl and then a Bolt ride home. We would not hesitate to return here again when we return to Malta. Although the land lords live on the property we never ever felt like our privacy was being invaded. They kept great lines of communication open via WhatsApp incase something had to happen while we were there such as pool being drained or they were having a small get together with family in the yard.

There was nothing we did not like.
