Gîte bien situé au calme dans un village agréable équipé suffisamment pour un week-end. Petit plus pour le barbecue facile d'utilisation.
Equipement sûrement un peu juste pour une durée supérieure à trois jours. Nous aurions aimé avoir plus de contact avec les propriétaires, notamment à l'arrivée.

The location is in a wonderful little village in a great part of Jura. The look feel style and quality of the property was very nice. In general the facilities there were very good all of this is especially true given it's alignment with its price. I think if it had cost much more my feelings may start to alter. A few small issues which can easily be overlooked at this price may become more significant if the price was much higher. The water pressure was excellent and made for a nice shower. Ample parking space, gated. Coffee pods provided. Felt homely and safe. Excellent strong fans provided in the bedrooms.
These are just some minor things really, more suggestions than criticism. The double bed was really quite small and although they are upfront about the size in the description it would be much better to have a larger bed. The pillows were a strange Square shape perhaps this is normal in France but from the UK it's unusual and just one pillow per person felt a little ungenerous shall I say. There was also really no extra or additional bedding lying around to make the stay more comfortable. They could have left a bit more toilet paper and the addition of some toiletries to make everything feel that touch more considered. They didn't promise this though so I can't hold it against them, I'd just say it would be nicer if they would add this. The living room was slightly uncomfortable for four adults as it just had the one sofa and a small occasional chair. Having at least a slightly larger more comfortable armchair would certainly help. The internet did not work for some reason. We didn't complain about this however as it felt more hassle than it was worth for a 2 night stay. So we didn't give them a chance to resolve it. They hadn't actually sent any details before our arrival for how to get into the place etc despite it saying that this would be sent the night before so I had to request this not knowing whether we would get a response. A response was given not too long after in fairness but would have been nicer to be contacted first, in advance so we weren't worrying whether we were getting in or not. Small things that just make a difference. There was an annoying cat which was constantly begging at the window trying to get in and making noise. This may be a positive for cat lovers I'm sure. The staircase was very very creaky and noisy so not good if you don't want to disturb others sleeping for example. Not sure what can really be done about that though.
The thing is one person's pro is another's con.
