Worst overnight stay ever!!!

Absolutely nothing!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this property and, in particular, the host’s handling of my £200 refundable damage deposit. Before check-in, I was required to pay a £200 damage deposit. On checkout, the host confirmed that this would be returned. I subsequently left an honest review detailing genuine issues I experienced, including dusty fans, stained bed sheets and hair found in the bed. The following day, when I contacted the host regarding my refund, I was told that my £200 deposit would not be returned unless I removed or amended my review. The host stated that my review would affect his future bookings and repeatedly made the return of my money conditional upon changing or deleting my feedback. I ultimately felt compelled to delete my review in order to recover money that had already been confirmed as refundable. This was not because my review was inaccurate. I have since contacted Booking.com and requested another opportunity to submit a review so that I can provide an honest account of my experience. I am also extremely concerned that the host retains a copy of my identification document, which I provided for the booking. During our communications, references to his possession of my ID made me feel intimidated and threatened. I found this wholly inappropriate and concerning. In my view, a refundable damage deposit should be held as security against genuine property damage and should not be used as financial leverage to influence, suppress or condition a guest’s review. Guests should be free to provide honest feedback without the threat of losing their money. The cleanliness issues were disappointing, but the subsequent conduct regarding my deposit and review was considerably more concerning. I would strongly urge future guests to exercise caution when booking this property, particularly regarding any request for a substantial refundable deposit and the handling of personal identification.

Not enough items provided (I.e. hand soap, washing up liquid, toilet roll etc…) Some of the lights didn’t work - TV channels selection was very poor

Stains everywhere. Found strands of hairs aswell in beds and pillows There was really dusty fans in the property however after contacting the host, they sent housekeeping to send us another fan

Easy to find. Parking right outside. There was shower gel and shampoo provided

The property was clean in general and well presented but there was some dust on the skirting boards especially in the downstairs bathroom.
