Very friendly place to stay on Santo Island. Located at Port Olry which is a 1.5hr drive from the airport so we definitely recommend hiring a car and spending a few nights here using the Serenity Treehouse as your base to then go and explore the rest of the island. The owners wife Angelique was very friendly and welcoming. Angeliques cooking was amazing and always generous portion sizes. This place is a hidden gem and we totally recommend if you want a relaxing and authentic Vanuatu experience.

This is the perfect detox from the world.
No WiFi, no distractions just an amazing Treehouse on possibly the most heart achingly beautiful beach I've seen in my life, you just don't get used to it.
Angelic is a fantastic hostess, kept us well fed and we had amazing conversations. I cannot speak highly enough of our stay here. The highlight of our trip to Vanuatu.
If you need any supplies there's markets and shops just up the road.
And if you want to see turtles at high tide they come right in close, just keep your eyes peeled.
An unforgettable stay.

Only maybe don't do what I did and assume you can withdraw cash from the bank, the closest atm is Luganville so make sure you have enough for your stay.

Port Orly location - this is one of the best properties available. Angelique is extremely hospitable. Her kids and dogs and kitty cats were friendly and played with the kids.
Expectedly a very basic treehouse - experience for the kids. There was no bar fridge in the room, and no standing fan. Windows are sealed with fly screens. BYO your own food from town. Cooked meals are pricey and must be booked in advance. We had no food one night. Drive yourself to have the freedom up this end.
