We werden opgewacht aan het huis door Florence die ons beide huizen liet zien.
Alles is mooi. Zijnde de grote kamers en badkamers, keuken, living en zwembad.
Alles is voorradig, ook in de keuken...voor inkopen heb je een SPAR in het centrum van Montignac en een eindje verder heb je een Intermarché (goedkoper ten opzichte van SPAR) en Aldi (ook een tankstation).

Wonderful holiday villa for large family/friends gatherings. There are 2 separate dwellings, 1. La Mansarde, the beautiful 17th Century building which only contains 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms over 3 floors (top floor bedroom with double and single bed) and 2. La Bergerie which contains a living room, separate large dining room, a large kitchen with table to seat 8 and 2 bedrooms (one bedroom off the kitchen with 1 single and 1 double bed and shower room and one bedroom upstairs off the living room with bathroom). The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. There is a utility/pool room adjacent to the gated pool with extra fridge, washing machine and dryer. Gardens are beautiful and there are 2 small charcoal bbqs as well as covered area with outdoor dining tables and chairs. There are also a couple sweet outdoor seating areas. The whole place is set in the countryside and was very peaceful. Accommodation was very clean, beds were comfortable and all appliances worked. A special thank you to Florence, the housekeeper, who was a great help.
We brought our own cafetière so it would have been nice if one had been available (there is one pod-type coffee machine and one electric filter coffee maker) and some serving platters would have been nice to have but these are just small things. A floorpan and map of the property would have helped when researching this accommodation. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
