A Hidden Gem — A Piece of Heaven! 🌿✨
Klawerjas Flute Cottage is truly a hidden gem that I honestly think more people in South Africa need to know about!
Just outside Robertson, we stayed for two nights — my mom, my two daughters and I — and paid R6,816 for the four of us. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had discovered something really special.
The cottage is beautifully and tastefully furnished, exceptionally well equipped for a self-catering stay, and incredibly comfortable. The beds deserve a special mention — they were SO comfortable! Having a washing machine and dryer was also such a wonderful bonus.
But what really makes this place magical is the setting. 🌿 We enjoyed the outdoor bush jacuzzi and spa, wandered through the beautifully laid-out gardens, and got to experience the animals — alpacas, exotic chickens, ducks and goats, including the sweetest two baby goats!
Everything about Klawerjas Flute Cottage feels wholesome, peaceful and soulful. It is the kind of place where you slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with what really matters.
I have travelled quite a bit, and I can honestly say this is one of the most wholesome and soulful places I have ever stayed.
It truly felt like a little piece of heaven. ❤️
If you are looking for somewhere peaceful, beautiful and completely different from the usual getaway, put Klawerjas Flute Cottage on your list. You will not regret it!
Shopping needs to be done in Robertson. But liked that it was peaceful and away from all the shops!

Gorgeous property, beautiful setting and the most gracious hostess who made us feel completely at home. Loved the opportunity to interact with farm animals. Pickleball was an added bonus and of course the hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was thoughtfully taken care of, making it a perfect family getaway. Can’t wait to return!

Private and peaceful. An oasis from the chaos of life. The view is magnificent. The animals are an absolute delight. The house is cosy and fully equipped. Beautiful artwork and interior. Clean.
