Location, Location, Location. If you want to explore Soulard, this is the place for you!! Walk to farmers market and many bars and restaurants. The apartment its self was good. The courtyard could use some attention. There were no games as listed and the fence to courtyard needs fixed. The apartment was clean but could tell the floor need a different kind of cleaning agent. They were sticky from a swifter or cleaner or something. We had to wipe the tv down in order to see the screen because it was streaked. The laundry room was a disaster. I have stayed in many VRBO’s and I don’t want to complain but the beds were so HARD, The shower were amazing, good water pressure. My only complaint was we didn’t have a fan as we were told was in the apartment nor did we have any wash cloths. I’d I had known, I would have brought my own, a fan is a must for me.Other than

The property is on the cusp of great. Cosmetic flaws and lack of quality repairs gives the property a half kept feel. Needs better cleaning. There were dead flies and visible dirt on rugs and floors. It lacked common amenities like dish towels, salt and pepper for example. The linens were sketchy. The mattresses were foam blocks. The living spaces cleanliness made you question the bedding cleanliness. We had no toilet paper in the downstairs bathroom and didn’t realize we had an upstairs for how the property is rented but the property manager communicated promptly and was working to have some delivered before we found 1 roll in the upstairs bathroom and we could use. The listing says FREE Parking which is true but it’s on a first come first serve street side that surprised me. If the cosmetic repairs and cleanliness upgraded this would get 4 to 5 stars. It’s located in a safe location walking distance from nice restaurants and short driving distance from most attractions. We would consider staying here again in hopes our suggestions were considered. The price we paid didn’t match the property for how it is present day but could if a touch more TLC was put back into the property and some cleaning upgrades. Kudos to the property manager for being accessible when needed.
