Location, location, location...the Islander East Condos is situated on my favorite part of Galveston..the East End. It's very quiet there, but restaurants, downtown, the ferry to Bolivar, etc are only a short drive from there.
Again location...situated on 8th floor, the apartment has a fabulous view of the gulf...with sunrises, sunsets, & star studded night skies lovely to take in from the balcony. It's tastefully decorated & clean...stocked well with kitchenware, bath & beach towels & other amenities; there were enough pillows. I greatly appreciated the attentiveness of our hosts'.. Mayvic & Mark for making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. They responded quickly to any questions & addressed any issues immediately.
The Islander East itself possesses a well run, casual, & clean atmosphere...the staff is friendly. Coffee is served in the morning in the attractive lobby. There is someone at the front desk 24/7. The environment feels very safe which added to the comfort of having a relaxing visit.

This place was exceptional. The condo was so nice. I was cozy, the view was spectacular. I will definitely be going back again.
I have no complaints. The facility was nice and the staff were great. I can't wait to stay again.

Truly enjoy going back to the Islander East and this unit. It has the kitchen essentials for a short stay and some beach necessities like towels and folding chairs. Access to the beach provides a private walkway. The property is always well maintained. In November the pool was heated enough for a couple of dips.
All our needs were met at the time so nothing we did not like.
