Ease of checkin, value for money, facilities and staff

Noise travelled between rooms very easily.

This property was not at all what was advertised on the site. The windows were painted closed and painted over so that the room was dark and dingy and you couldn't open them, The walls did not go all the way to the roof so was open at the top to the adjoining room. I saw no evidence of any Aircon in the room. On the description it mentions " every unit has a patio" this is completely untrue. The manager was rude when I pointed this out and simple said that I could not get a refund as I had already paid. I was very disappointed and left to go to more suitable accommodation. I would still like a refund as I feel that the description was very misleading.

- Das Zimmer (wir haben die Suite gebucht) ist sehr groß und schön eingerichtet. Vor allem das eigene Bad und der Stauraum (amerikanischer Kleiderschrank) haben uns sehr gut gefallen. - Die Suiten befinden sich nicht im selben Haus wie die anderen Zimmer, sind etwas weiter von der Hauptstraße entfernt und daher sehr ruhig gelegen. - Warmwasser-Dusche - Tolle Tipps vom Gastgeber bekommen (z.B. zum öffentlichen Verkehrsnetz und wie man zum Walk of Fame kommt etc.) - Gemeinschaftsküche mit Tee und Kaffee steht gratis zur Verfügung - Lage ist perfekt, kann zu Fuß nach Venice Beach, Venice Canals... Laufen (ca. 20-30min.) - E-Bikes (keine normalen Fahrräder vorhanden!) können für 50USD pro Tag (10am - 5pm) gemietet werden. - Mit dem Airportshuttle (rosa Haltestelle) und dem Bus Nr. 3 kann man praktisch bis vor die Unterkunft fahren (USD 1.75 pro Person und Fahrt)! - Ralphs und Ross - Dress for Less sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt.

- Wir waren im Winter dort (Mitte Februar), daher war das Zimmer ziemlich kalt, da es nicht beheizt war. In der Nacht haben wir gefroren. - Wir konnten unser Zimmer nicht abschließen, aber das Haus selbst ist abschließbar. - Als wir ankamen (Ankunftszeit wurde angekündigt), war niemand da. Wir hatten auch keinen Zugangscode erhalten. Wurden dann von anderen Touristen begrüßt und informiert. Der Empfang hätte besser organisiert werden können. - Früheres Einchecken nicht möglich, aber wir konnten unser Gepäck im Aufenthaltsraum lassen (ist aber nicht abgeschlossen). - Mülleimer der vorherigen Gäste wurde im Bad nicht geleert.

Lage nahe Venice Beach aber ohne Auto dennoch weit

Mega Hellhörig, Wänden teilweise nicht abschließend man hört andere Gäste und sieht ihr Licht, keine wirkliche Tür bei Zimmern, nicht wirklich sicher für Wertsachen

They had a water cooler with drinkable water which is always a pain to buy if you're travelling as you can't carry leftover on planes. The large room was separated into smaller "cabins" which allowed a good midway price option for solo travellers between a bunk bed room, and a private room. The "cabins" had a large locker for passport and laptop etc, so I never bothered to lock my cabin as who wants to steal my underpants?

Being a separated room, the lighting in each cabin wasn't sufficient, so I think at least paint the walls a light colour, or add lamps high so they light up that cabin, but not the neighbouring one . All phones come with a built in torch of course, so no biggy. They had disposable cups, plates and cutlery, whereas I prefer more solid utensils, and washing them of course.

I love the people very friendly and helpful and respect our privacy

Very central location.. close by to many popular places in Venice such as Venice beach and Venice canals.. many places to eat nearby as well.. very clean and quiet .. love the common areas and backyard space as well..

Rien, refus de séjour dernière minute, a16h30 pour une arrivée a 17h. Chambre déjà relouée . Pas négociable possible.Pas de leur faute, faute de booking.com Carte ne passait pas juste avant notre arrivée alors que nous avions fait la réservation la veille. Il ne nous ont pas laissé essayer avec autre carte bancaire.(comme prévu dans booking). A la rue à Los Angeles.

Même réponse. On ne préviens pas les clients à la dernière minute.on doit respecter un contrat. On avait fait 600 km, on ne pouvait pas faire demi-tours. On aurait pu payer en liquide sur place aussi. On met pas les gens dans la panade. C’est lamentable.

The staff and manager were very welcoming and did absolutely everything possible to ensure that my stay was excellent. The bedroom and amenities were as described. Overall, it is the best place to stay in Venice beach area, possibly in LA, especially if you are looking to meet other friendly travellers.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms and place. I felt like at my friend's home. The location is perfect for finding everything; food, clothes, bus stops etc.

Its a safe place near the beach, and all you need with free parking and very friendly host. I recommend without hesitation :)

Maybe more kitchen stuff for cooking, but it's work fine if you need to cook.

Property was in close walking distance to Venice beach, and bus stop on the door step if you wanted to go in to Hollywood, which was a good price 1 dollar, food and grocery store within walking distance…. Has 24/7 security guard who lives there and cameras so you feel

Great value for The Price, the space was clean and the cabin’s bed was very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is close to beach and bus stops. Perfect stay.

It was a pleasant short visit, I would love to try and stay again longer next time. The location was great ,close to the beach, private TV acces on the bed, kitchen and fridge available and very clean,the staff was friendly and very helpful. I definitely recommend👍
