Within 5 minutes of arriving at our next accommodation in Blue Bay we regretted leaving the last one

Fabulous property. The big bonus is the rooftop heated pool. Great for an evening entertaining or relaxing.

Locating the beach was harder than expected. (Ie 200 yards from the property sounds easy)

Aufenthalt nur drinnen möglich - für Mauritius ein No-Go!

Das Management war sehr nett und bemühte sich alles zu lösen, leider ist der/die Eigentümer eine Frechheit, aber der lässt sein Management als Blocker dazwischen stehen. Das hat unsere Verhandlungsbasis extrem erschwert, weil die freundlichen Manager nichts für die Reaktionen des Eigentümers auf unsere Beschwerden können.

Die Lage war eine Katastrophe, weil das Haus mitten an einer sehr lauten befahrenen Hauptstraße liegt. Außerdem hat das Haus keine Außenflächen, außer einer Dachterrasse, die leider keinen Schutz hat - es ist also entweder zu heiß oder bei Regen nass und deshalb kann man in diesem Haus nur drinnen sein. Vieles macht im ersten Moment einen guten Eindruck, aber wenn man genauer hinschaut, sind viele Dinge kaputt - Wäscheständer, Rollos, Duscharmaturen, Schrankgriffe fehlen, Sonnenschirm ohne Bespannung, Wasserspülung im Klo... Der Vermieter kommt einem gar nicht entgegen und die Rechnungserstellung wird auch verweigert, obwohl der Vermieter dazu verpflichtet ist. Der Fußweg zum Strand ist weiter als angegeben und die Lage auf der Karte war auch um 1,5 km falsch. Die Darstellung mit den Fotos ist täuschend. Im Nachhinein wurde uns klar, warum viele Fotos bei Nacht aufgenommen wurden. Die Küche ist gut, aber sie ist unter der Treppe in einem Durchgang und man hat in diesem Haus keinen Blick. Wem der Aufenthalt draußen und der Lärm egal sind, wird sich hier vielleicht wohl fühlen - für uns war das besonders für Mauritius furchtbar! Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Haus abgebrochen und eine wunderschöne Alternative gefunden - so war unser Urlaub gerettet - leider kein Entgegenkommen durch den Vermieter.
