North Cairns is a 30-40 minute walk to the city. A 50-cent local public bus runs regularly past the property to town and back - sometimes delayed, so give yourself time. Uber or Taxi about $10.
The room was spacious and fully appointed as an apartment. West facing is noisy, overlooking the main road, but with mountain views. East facing over the carpark, views higher up.

Handy to have a washing machine available
Disappointing that the bedroom was open to the living room, too noisy for sleeping if tv was on. Bed was small and pillows not great

Location, parking, cleaningness and a quiet room (facing the back of the property.)
The bedroom was not separated from the living room. It had quite a large opening in the joining wall between the two, in which the tv was sitting on. Therefore it was not a genuine one bedroom apartment. There was no table and chairs for dinning or working on a computer inside the apartment. The pans were in poor condition, badly scratched.
