The shepherd hut was beautifully located, with exceptional views of the surrounding countryside.
Well maintained, and with everything you could want and need for a relaxing break away.
Communication with the host was great, and very helpful

The property was very clean, modern and welcoming inside and the welcome basket was much appreciated, Matt was a really nice friendly guy who was happy to chat. The location was absolutely stunning and so quiet, the villagers were very friendly and helped us when we got lost and finding somewhere to eat when we found that the local pub had closed down.

It’s very pretty and the views are insane and the welcome hamper was a nice touch.
It’s really in the middle of nowhere with nothing around. You need to bring everything with you as there are no shops at all in walking distance.
There are no mirrors in the cabin so be sure to bring your own if you need it.
The hot tub is not really a hot tub. It’s more of a bath and takes forever to heat up (we had the fire going for about 5 hours and it was barely warm). You also have to keep putting logs on it every 40 mins to warm it up which is highly restrictive, especially as the cabin is on the top of a very steep hill. We had to leave dinner to do the walk up just to keep it going and in the end it was barely worth it as it didn’t heat up.
