Just spent a couple days at Shenandoah Crossings Resort near Gordonsville, VA. It's a relatively small place packed with several sleeping options for a quick and affordable getaway. They have a hotel with a pool, yurts, and cabins. There's a 60 acre lake where you can go boating or catch and release fishing. There are riding horses. It has a few other amenities. It's really a beautiful place but I think it's more for a quick weekend trip. There was a pretty good live band by the pool both days we were there. The staff was nice. The restaurant had good food and prices. The rooms were clean and updated.
Really, the only complaint I have is that the compound is kind of small for all that they have going on. Everything is kind of packed together so you don't feel like you can get away from everyone else. The yurts are all close together, the cabins are close together, and they are all close to everything else.

Very nice property, amazing amenities, very comfortable rooms, and great staff.
Far from nearby attractions like the national park and Charlottesville.
