Anna, our host was kind, friendly and very helpful, all the way from booking the apartment until our check out. Our extra requests were all fulfilled.
It is a very simple puritan apartment but because of that it has a very nice romantic mediterranean vibe to it.
We were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the apartment.
The location is 10/10. The historical downtown is a 10 min walk, all the sightseeing are a maximum of 15-10 walk. There are very good restaurants literally 50 meters from the apartment, and the beach is a 200 meters walk.
The highlight of the apartment is obviously the balcony. We booked it because of that. It's a unmatched experience to have your morning coffee or your pizza dinner with that view.
Overall we were very satisfied and we got what we expected.
We saw the reviews and pictures so we expected it to be puritan and a little run down. We liked the vibe overall and were not surprised by the conditions, BUT 3 things needs immediate attention from the owner. First and most importantly that duvet is criminal. It is a feather duvet wrapped with a simple sheet not a proper duvet cover. That sheet comes off very easily during the night and when it does the feathers are stabbing you. and it becomes very uncomfortable.
The second is the toilet seat. When an apartment costs a 100 euro a night off season and 300-500 euro a night in high season, I don't except a broken toilet seat. It costs 20 euro in Lidl. Buy one...
The third is the bath tub. There is no plug so you can only use it for showering and not bathing. Which wouldn't be a problem if the wall was not broken, and there was a proper shower curtain. But is broken and there is no curtain, which means the water goes everywhere, so you gotta mop the bathroom floor after every shower. All of these: a new toilet seat, fixing the shower and buying proper blankets and blanket covers are very cheap and fast fixes that would improve the overall experience immensely.
Besides these we were very satisfied with everything and we got what we expected.

Appartamento spartano nell'arredo e nel corredo (a noi non interessa particolarmente), ma spazioso e accogliente, ha una vista e una posizione eccezionale sul lungomare di Alghero. Il personale è stato gentile, la casa ci è stata data ben pulita. Fantastica la posizione fronte spiaggia. Vicini ristoranti e servizi.

Posizione a 10/15 minuti a piedi dal centro di Alghero.
Facilità nel trovare parcheggio sotto l’appartamento.
Appartamento datato come descritto in molte recensioni. Il proprietario prometteva ammodernamenti lo scorso anno che effetivamente non ci sono.
Senza aria condizionata con 40 gradi fuori non il massimo.
Inoltre in bagno non c’è il box doccia ma una vasca con un vetro che non è il massimo della comodità.
