Excellent accommodation in Shkoder

We had a fantastic stay at Solaris Apartment. The host was super friendly and helpful, guiding us throughout our journey and always quick to respond to messages. Their kindness and support made our trip feel easy and stress‑free.The apartment itself was right in the centre, making it perfect for exploring the city. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Shkoder. Though free parking is advertised it is extremely difficult to find one due to the nature of the location. But our host was very kind and directed us to a paid parking about 3 min walk from the apartment. Parking was roughly 5euros for 24 hours. You can pay with lek or euros. Our host paid for parking for the first night which was very kind.

The living room and one of the bedrooms have excellent air conditioning, which kept us very comfortable. The second bedroom doesn’t have air conditioning, but a fan is provided.We didn’t face major issues, though during extremely hot weather that room did feel warm even with the fan. Guests visiting in cooler months will likely find it perfectly fine.

A perfect home-from-home in Shkodër — 10/10

Solaris was the perfect base for our trip to Valbona and Theth. We stayed both before and after heading into the mountains, and it could not have worked better for us as a family of four. The apartment was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed, including air conditioning, two bedrooms and a lovely little terrace. What really made it stand out were the thoughtful touches such as coffee, sugar and cooking oil. After travelling and hiking, it genuinely felt like a home from home. The location was excellent too. It was close enough to walk to the busy streets, but still felt peaceful and relaxing. The pick-up and drop-off points for trips to the mountains and onward travel to Montenegro were also within walking distance, which made everything much easier and saved us money on taxis. Most of all, Edita was wonderful. She was incredibly welcoming, flexible, helpful and accommodating throughout both of our stays. We are travelling through Albania and Montenegro as a family of four, and Solaris was probably the place where we felt most at home and most relaxed. I could not recommend it highly enough to families, hikers or anyone visiting Shkodër. A definite 10 out of 10.

Byla zde pračka, sice jsme ji nevyužili protože to bylo první ubytování v Albánii ale možnost ji mít je super.

Jeden pokoj není klimatizovaný, byli jsme ve 4, takže jeden pár z nás neměl přístup ke klimatizaci a bylo jim večer vedro, je tam ale dostupný větrák alespoň. Výhled nic moc. Ale s tím jsme ani nepočítali.
