Very cosy place with nice garden, close to bus stop from which you will easily get a transport to nearby hiking trails. Great relax on the balcony. Spacious room with comfy beds. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Noise from the street may be disturbing, especially during the evening.

The manager is very friendly, particularly her son and her nephew, they speak English very well. The manager allowed us to stay for half a day extra for a small extra payment, which helped us because we flew at night time. Great place, near to bush, fresh air. Nothing to complain. We will definitely stay here again.
The wifi is a bit slow but not a big issue. You can still watch Tiktok, but do not expect to backup your 6K braw upstair.

This is such a pretty property, up in the mountains on the outskirts of Almaty, situated in a compound with a little garden. It’s not outside of the city, but feels like it. Has an atmosphere a bit like a ski lodge in the summer. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the bathroom was good, and the owner was very friendly. There’s a balcony seating area where you can sit and plan your day whilst the sun comes up and the temperature isn’t too hot. The perfect place to stay for a few days whilst skirting the city centre and visiting Alma-Arasan gorge, Shymbulak, BAO etc.
The only thing I’d say is the decor of the room could be a little more homey. Our room was essentially a (large) featureless white cube, with some patterned wallpaper on one of the 4 walls.
