The property was in great shape and convenient location for many of the south side beaches, Horseshoe bay beach in walking distance and close to amenities. Great stay, great host.

One of our favorite vacations we've ever taken! Claudette is an amazing host, thoughtful, kind, full of energy and full of great insights into the wonderfully magical place that is Bermuda. The apartment is clean with a full kitchen and a large bathroom, and sits on one of the highest hills on the entire island in the shadow of the awesome Gibbs Hill lighthouse. We rented a two-seater electric car (Bermi Swizzle--highly recommended to zip around the island for a week) and Claudette's place even included an electric charging station. An amazing island, with an amazing host and amazing culture and amazing beauty -- we will be back! Claudette's place is truly the jewel of Bermuda!!! - Thom and Sam

Amazing host, impeccable property and attention to detail in all aspects of the stay from cooking utensils to bath products…you will love staying here! Central on the island, close walk to bus, affords privacy along with the most gorgeous view of the water. Claudette was responsive to every request and question…highly recommend for a quiet and relaxing stay!

This was our first time in Bermuda, and while the location of the property was lovely, there were several aspects of the stay that didn’t meet our expectations.The host, Claudette, lives on-site, which I had gathered from other reviews, but I was surprised to learn she expected to personally greet us upon arrival, especially after a late-night flight. It would have been helpful to have clearer communication in advance about the check-in process.The listing notes access to a washer and dryer, but in practice, laundry is done by the host rather than being self-serve. Similarly, the outdoor space (yard/garden with ocean views) was not available to us during our stay, as Claudette indicated it was being used by other guests. It would have been helpful if these limitations had been clarified in the listing.Unfortunately, we also had a personal interaction that made the stay uncomfortable. On our second day, Claudette confronted me in a raised tone about what she perceived as rudeness because I hadn’t greeted her while on a work call. While she clearly cares about her role as a host, the interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational and left us feeling uneasy for the remainder of the trip.That said, Claudette did help us book a local BBQ experience, which we appreciated. Overall, travelers who prefer a more hands-on hosting style may enjoy this property, but those looking for more independence or privacy may want to consider this when booking.
