Sumitra Luxury Villas & Resort by Pramana

Everything

Nothing

Beautiful, relaxed and calm. Staff were so friendly and accomodating. Food was excellent. Spa was great. Room was large and comfortable and beautifully designed.

Nothing! The resort was on the quieter end of the beach which was perfect for us so not a downside!

WOW. What an incredible resort! My wife, our 9-month-old daughter and I stayed at Sumitra at the end of October 2026, and we were genuinely blown away. Without a doubt, this is the nicest place we have ever stayed. What took us most by surprise was not just the beautiful resort, but the people who make it what it is. Every single staff member we encountered was exceptionally kind, welcoming, helpful and courteous. Whether you're walking past someone tending to the gardens or simply crossing paths around the resort, you'll always be greeted with a warm, genuine hello. It's something that might seem small, but when it happens consistently, everywhere and with everyone, it really says something about the culture of a place. A special shout-out to Tegar and Feby, who are genuinely two of the loveliest people we have ever met. Thank you for being yourselves and making us feel so welcome! Honestly, though, every single team member we interacted with was exceptional. I only wish I could remember the dozens of names so I could thank you all individually. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. We stayed in a beautiful villa right by the beach with a large private pool, with thoughtful touches throughout and everything kept immaculately clean. The Flow restaurant served consistently delicious food, there's wonderful live music every day, a lazy river you could happily float around for hours, a beautiful beachfront infinity pool, a gym, spa and even a kids' club where little ones can escape the heat and enjoy some playtime. It's the attention to detail that really sets Sumitra apart. From the quality of the amenities (even a Dyson Nural hairdryer in the villa!) to the proactive housekeeping and the way staff seem to anticipate what you need before you even have to ask, everything feels considered. We rarely needed to request anything because things were already taken care of. It's this level of thoughtfulness and personal servi

N/A - everything was perfect

Clean ver tidy

Very big hotel Ridiculously slow check in No one about very much not much atmosphere Asked me if there was a reason to celebrate So even though it was just one night I told them it was our 40th anniversary - I don’t why why they bothered to ask because nothing was done - not even a little cake Value for money for AU $380 a night I wouldn’t go back
