We stayed in this self-contained unit to visit our family in Varsity Lakes. It was just perfect for us, so we definitely plan to stay here again on our next visit! ☺️ We loved the large space in the combined bedroom and dining area that made "living out of suitcase" actually pleasant! Bathroom had a shower that was finally big enough for an adult man to shower without banging elbows on the glass! And an ample bathroom counter space for the lady to have all her necessities out! Super location right near Aldi and a pretty decent café a few minutes away. Very quiet and safe residential area. Right near the water. 🤩😍 We did not mind being so close to the life of the host family. Would have not minded a bit of socialising either. 😊

Could have made it a 10/10 stay: - Air-fryer and microwave served us well, but that limited the type of food we could have (i.e. less healthy). Would have preferred to have been able to heat up food on a frying plan / in a pot and have been able to cook simple pasta on the stove. Would have given a full 10/10 if that was possible. - Lack of dishwasher was inconvenient but made sense, since most people would be in the area for proper tourism purposes, eating out most of the meals. - Placement for toilet roll and the holder type could be reconsidered. It was in an extremely in unergonomic spot, and even when paper was pulled gently, the roll easily slid off the holder and fell on to the floor. 😬

Car parking was a challenge. Only because I was not used to parking in Varsity Lakes. Probably nothing to do with the accommodation.
