After reading many obviously fake reviews on booking.com we booked Bloom hotel and were happy with our choice. Staff were welcoming and very helpful and were keen to make our stay pleasant. Nothing was a problem.
Our room was spacious with a king size bed and was clean and comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was compact but with a good shower.
Everything is quite worn and could do with updating, but there are lots of touches that show some attention to detail - newly painted walls with matching yellow decorations. Tea and coffee making and a fridge in the room.
The restaurant next door to the hotel serves breakfast - both continental and Indian and very reasonable evening meals.
For central Karol Bagh this hotel is a good choice.
The street was mainly for car repair business so a tuktuk is required to to markets etc. however there are several outside the door so it is no hassle.
We also had a problem with the travel agency they use, we had a pre booked airport pickup but the guy wasn't there. They give a phone no to call but we didn't have an Indian sim. After a lot of waiting we just used the official airport taxi service, which was considerably cheaper anyway! We later received apologies from the hotel and the agency.
