Absolutely spotlessly clean, modern & well equipped with everything for a short or longer stay. Really comfortable beds with lovely linen. Perfect if peace & quiet in a beautiful tranquil spot is your thing. We loved the silence and beautiful views. Visiting dog & fresh scones also a bonus for us!
Not a negative for us, but worth bearing in mind that it’s a 35-40 minute walk to the village. Also, the bathroom is within one of the bedrooms, not separate, although there is a 2nd toilet. Again that was fine for us as there were just the two of us.

The cottage has a very modern and new interior, and lacks almost nothing you might need. The host is really friendly and helpful, we got lots of tips and ideas what to do in Connemara - there are even maps and flyers for several spots nearby. The location is situated in the hills beneath Cleggan, so it's very calm and quiet - perfect for relaxing. Wifi is excellent, and beds very comfortable.
A freezer would be nice in case of longer stays and if you cook by yourself (what the rest of the kitchen is definitely set up for). The shower and toilet in one of the bedrooms is a little strange - no problem for us, since we were only two, and we could arrange.

Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren zweitägigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Gastgeber war ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat uns mit tollen Tipps für Ausflüge und Unternehmungen in der Umgebung unterstützt. Da wir mit unserem Hund gereist sind, haben wir uns besonders darüber gefreut, dass auch der freundliche Hund des Gastgebers unseren Vierbeiner herzlich begrüßt hat. Die Unterkunft war modern, sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, sogar Netflix war verfügbar. Auch die Lage ist hervorragend. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Super logement très propre et très confortable . Hôte très sympathique nous a donné beaucoup d'informations pour les visites dans la région . Environnement super et très calme à la campagne ! Avons beaucoup apprécié !
