You are reserving a luxury vacation cabin with Pristine Vacation Rentals, the top vacation rental company in the area with 100% customer satisfaction and five star reviews across the board from VRBO, Flipkey etc…A few days prior to your arrival you will receive the cabins address, check-in/check-out instructions, door entry codes, wifi codes, house and property information as well as local suggestions of things to experience. If you reserved the property directly from our website you will receive this information in an email. If reserved the property through a third party platform such as VRBO, Flip Key, etc... They will provide you with this information. When reserved through VRBO the information will be sent to you the message thread where you booked the property and received your reservation confirmation message as well. Please respect the neighbors and clean up after yourselves.
GUESTS ARE EMAILED CODE TO ACCESS, DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPERTY. PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, NO OFFICE VISIT TO PICK UP KEYS!

Also feel free to use any of the spices, sugar, creamers etc… that are generally stocked in the fully equipped kitchen.
This is a SMOKE FREE environment! Please don't smoke in the cabin. If you choose to smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts.
PHONE SERVICE: Cell phone reception is generally good, but it can be spotty at times. We are in the mountains.
CHILDREN: This house is not child-proofed for young children. There are also no accommodations for babies.
SUPPLIES: Groceries and supplies are available within 5 to 10 miles, but we suggest guests bring what they may need for immediate use so they can stay and relax on the property for their first meals, if so desired.
FIRES: Guests are welcome to use the fire pit year-round. However, we do not provide firewood. You can purchase this at many of the local convenience stations, local grocery stores or Walmart. It's generally around $5 per bundle.
NO SMOKING POLICY due to guest and owner allergies. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee of $200 if you smoke inside the cabin. If you smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts properly.
LONG TERM RENTALS: Please send an inquiry for details.

First, I will say that this is a beautiful historic house that has been redone nicely. Very cozy feel with a nice comfy king size bed. The second bedroom is cute with games on the wall. Decent size bathroom. Everything was pretty clean. Nice size deck with plenty of seating, grill and a table. Note, if it rains the only cover outside is over the hot tub. The only sounds you hear is nature, besides an occasional car. This place is absolutely serene. Although it rained most of our trip, we got to hear a bear on the mountain side one night. We saw a rabbit running down the road and hung out with a turtle, saw tons of birds and butterflies too.There are a few other houses on the dead end road, everyone seemed kind and waved. I would be careful if you have bad knees, as the step to get inside both doors of the house are tall. The hot tub took 24 hours to heat up, so if you like it hot, I'd set it upon arrival. I recommend going past the house and turning around to park, as the driveway is narrow. We enjoyed the fire pit on our one dry night, there was plenty of wood. If you like solitude, you'll like it in the area. You're about thirty to fourty minutes from a city, Burnsville and Spruce Pine being the bigger two. There are some country stores around, but everything is a hike through winding mountain rds, so plan accordingly. Beautiful stunning views all around the area. Blessed to have gotten to stay here. The owner is blessed to own this piece of Gods masterpiece.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was very clean and well taken care of, and the beds were so comfortable. The hot tub was perfect and such a relaxing bonus—especially with how peaceful and private the setting is. It was exactly what we needed to unwind. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway and would love to come back again!

Very responsive host eager to resolve any issues. Very tranquil and peaceful. Kitchen ready with all equipment needed to prepare meals. Beds were extremely comfortable. Nice deck with rocking chairs and table with chairs for outdoor dining. Loved the firepit. Wish we had know we didnt need to bring firewood as it was neatly stacked nearby firepit. It is deep in the woods and the night sky can be viewed without obstructions. The lights around the deck and hot tub area were needed and appreciated. Be careful walking the yard as there are many dips and it is easy to twist an ankle. We loved the subtle festive decor inside. There are steps up to the walkway as well as both front and side door that could use and extra step. Its not spaced as standard steps and was somewhat difficult coming and going. Someone with physical limitaions may have more trouble. Overall we teuly enjoyed this home and all the surrounding nature and beauty.
