This is a wonderful home in a quiet area of Southport, ME just a few minutes from Boothbay Harbor and just a short drive to Coastal Maine Botanical Garden. It was perfect for our group of three generations: grandparents, parents, and kids (two of each). We appreciated the room darkening shades that make getting good sleep that much easier--being in Maine has a lot to do with being relaxed, too! The kitchen is well fitted out and there is a grill on the deck. Everything you need. The house has two and a half bathrooms and the three bedrooms worked well--kids enjoyed the bunk bed room.Rebecca responds quickly to questions and is a helpful host. Don't hesitate to book this wonderful property!

The home was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We found time to just relax on the back deck with a beverage while enjoying the breeze through the trees as we gazed out onto the lovely little cove. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and all the gadgets you might need, and the pantry was very well supplied. Rebecca was very responsive to all communications. We were also able to take walks to the end of Capitol Island and take in the sea breeze. The home is also conveniently located with a short drive to Boothbay Harbor and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend staying here!

I really enjoyed staying at this property in Southport, ME with my family. The rear deck is a treat and the views wonderful. This property has every modern convenience.Nestled in a wooded area this property is new with modern kitchen and bathrooms. This may not be the ideal locations for families with small children, the master bedroom is on the 2nd floor and the other 2 bedrooms on the ground/first floor.When we reserved this property, we were not aware it was pet friendly. This may have been our error, I'm not sure!The pre clean before we arrived was lacking. There were pet hairs on the furniture and beds, especially the sofa!! We needed to wash bed covers on arrival and use a lint roller on the sofa. No working vacuum in the unit.The owner was responsive and provided a credit for the cleaning.
