We had an absolutely wonderful stay and could not recommend this house highly enough. The property is beautiful, comfortable, very well maintained and has everything you could wish for for a relaxing stay in Umbria. The swimming pool and outdoor areas are fantastic, and the house was a perfect base for exploring Spoleto and the surrounding region. What made our stay particularly special, however, was our host, Raffaella. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. She gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants, local food, wineries and places to visit, including some wonderful suggestions we probably would not have discovered ourselves. Her hospitality went far beyond what we normally expect from a holiday rental. When I became ill during our stay, Raffaella immediately helped me find the local medical service, checked the address for me and then contacted me afterwards to ask how I was feeling and how the doctor’s visit had gone. It was such a thoughtful and genuinely caring gesture, and something we will remember. Communication throughout our stay was excellent – whenever we had a question, Raffaella responded quickly and was always happy to help. The whole experience felt much more personal than simply renting a holiday house. We felt genuinely welcomed and trusted as guests, and by the end of our stay we were very sorry to leave. A beautiful house, a wonderful location and, above all, an exceptional host. We would happily return and would recommend this property without hesitation.
