This was a truly remarkable place, full of welcome, beauty, peace and happiness. The location is astounding, it's on the slopes of a green valley surrounded by high cliffs with the most magnificent view of the Katskhi pillar. We walked up through the woods in the early evening to see if we could spy the lonely monk who lives atop it and then came back to sit in the garden drinking beer and enjoying the company of their very friendly dog. This was followed by a delicious meal made by Inga accompanied by their excellent homemade wine. A solid nights' sleep only interrupted by the glorious howling of golden jackals - we couldn't believe it! A very pleasing breakfast the next morning and the joy of watching Inga calling her calves. It really is a lovely rural retreat, comfortable and welcoming and close to Chiatura for the cable cars and soviet murals. Make sure you book yourself in - out of the 12 places we stayed in Georgia this was the most memorable.

C’etait genial, l’hôte est très sympa. Nous sommes arrivés assez tard et il nous a attendu puis nous a fait goûter du vin délicieux. Nous avons bien rigolé. L’emplacement est parfait, nous avons tout fait à pied. Et les lits sont très confortables!!

Super warme ontvangst. Inga heeft heerlijk voor ons gekookt en ook het ontbijt was fantastisch. Wij raden deze plek heel erg aan!
